From lush washes of sound, to intimate springs, and everywhere in between, the BigSky—in a limited edition Midnight finish—from Strymon is a powerhouse reverb that is perfect for studio and live applications. Any type of reverb you can imagine can be dialed in by using the 12 exceptional, SHARC DSP-powered algorithms. Classic plates, halls and springs are easily tweaked to perfection, while the unique Shimmer, Cloud, and Chorale algorithms can be used for more experimental sounds. Each algorithm has deep controls allowing for customization and the 300 onboard preset slots means you will never run out of space for your creations. An infinite freeze feature, available by pressing and holding its footswitch, allows for exceptionally expressive playing.
One of the most helpful additions to the BigSky is the Cab Filter that gives the pedal a response similar to that of an amp. If you are a guitarist, bassist, or keyboardist who usually uses an amp, this will round out your sound giving you a more familiar response while running direct through a PA or recording interface. An expression pedal input allows you to control one or several parameters, or use a tap tempo switch for control of the Pre-Delay or Decay time. Supreme 24-bit/96kHz A/D D/A converters provide sensational fidelity and the +8dBu max input level easily handles instrument and line levels. The BigSky is perfect for studios and pedalboards big and small.
