Tascam DR-100mkIII
The Tascam DR-100 MkIII is a portable high-quality recording device that is just as suited to field recordings as it is to studio work. It can record at up to 192kHz/24-bit and features temperature-compensated sample clock. The dual ADC has a S/N ratio of 109dB for pristine quality recordings with minimal interference.
The DR-100 MkIII features two sets of microphones, an AB directional pair and an omnidirectional pair. The microphones feature built-in shock mounts that help protect against vibration and handling noise. In addition to the onboard mics, the DR-100 MkIII features locking combination XLR/TRS jacks with both 24V and 48V phantom power by Amphenol for use with external audio gear such as microphones, guitars, or synthesizers. The inputs feature low-noise HDDA preamps. Additional inputs include a 3.5mm plug for electret microphones and S/PDIF input for recording digital audio.
Dual Format Recording records MP3 and WAV files simultaneously for both full resolution and compressed recordings. Dual Recording Mode captures a secondary recording at -12dB in level from your original recording, eliminating clipping issues. It records to SD card but can also be used as a USB audio interface to record directly into your Mac, PC, or iOS device.
