Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio

Beautifully designed for exquisite sound, the OB-4 from Teenage Engineering is your source for natural sounding, high-fidelity audio on the go. With two 4" bass drivers and a pair of tweeters pumping a nice 38 watts per channel, you can take this anywhere; confident you will hear and be heard. The reel special thing about the OB-4 is its always on tape constantly recording the previous 2 hours worth of audio. Whether you're connected via Bluetooth, using the 3.5mm line in, or listening to the radio, the tape is always listening. This opens up the option to go back and relisten, but you can also loop phrases and slow down or speed up the audio, giving this speaker an almost instrument quality. You can even jitter the loop around moving the window through the buffer and cutting the size down all the way to 1/64.

Aside from the audio connectivity, there's a Disk mode that features unique programs such as: Ambience, that creates an ever-evolving soundscape from live radio; Karma, that is a playlist of mantras; and a metronome that can go from 1 bpm to 800 bpm. As with every Teenage Engineering product, design is front-and-center: the OB-4 is beautifully minimal with a straightforward interface that features a constantly churning jog wheel indicating where you are in the tape. The built-in handle conceals the FM antenna, but also functions as a stand for desktop use.

Grab an OB-4 from Teenage Engineering for a high-quality, portable, natural sounding set of speakers with some really unique features—perfect for an afternoon outside or an evening in the studio.
