Tiptop Audio CYMBL909

Cymbl909 is a dual-voice module based on the TR-909's original crash and ride circuits. As such, it sounds like it has been plucked right out of the '80s and firmly inserted into a modern context. Compared to the original, this iteration features several new features that have vastly expanded its sonic potentiality. One of the most notable is the inclusion of both manual and voltage control of the sample's analog tuning section. This addition imparts a distinctly industrial flavor on the low end, a more traditional crash sound for the mids, and shimmering hats at the top end. Beyond that, users will want to try modulating the Tune input with a variety of CV sources for auspicious audio effects.
