Tiptop Audio MA808

Tiptop Audio’s MA808 is an exact recreation of the circuit on the original TR-808 but with some added features for better use in a Eurorack modular context. Additionally, the module contains the TR-808’s continuous white noise generator, yielding a full spectrum of harmonics that serve as an ample starting point for custom drum sounds.

Each input features a dual pulse-shaper circuit that enables the module to be triggered with both trigger and gate signals, ensuring stability regardless of the pulse source (i.e., sequencers, clock dividers, etc.). This makes creating analog drum patterns and sequences within a Eurorack ecosystem both fun and easy.
