TK Audio's take on a "Magic glue" compressor, the BC1-THD is a stereo bus compressor designed for transparent enhancement of a mix without sacrificing any clarity. Additionally, the BC1-THD adds capability for external sidechaining, and engineers can engage a high-pass filter to make compression less responsive to low frequencies. TK Audio has also added in their THD circuitry, which applies pleasing harmonic distortion for adding a bit more character to incoming audio. The BC1-THD is an excellent choice for tracking or mixing, whenever the need for smooth and clear compression arises.
