Tremor Labs Geophone

Adapting technology traditionally used for measuring seismic activity, the Tremor Labs Geophone (or Xeofon) affixes itself to the Earth or large objects and sonifies vibrations or movement. Using either the included suction cup or neodymium magnet, stick the Geophone near busy intersections, construction sites, or anywhere else you think interesting sounds are waiting to be discovered. Given the nature of rumbly vibrations, the Geophone is more sensitive to frequencies under 1000Hz, but try your luck with a variety of sounds—after all, this is for experimental music. Incorporate the environment into your artistic practice in completely new ways with the Tremor Labs Geophone.
