Universal Audio Apollo Twin X QUAD

The Apollo Twin X QUAD from Universal Audio is a small but mighty Thunderbolt 3 audio interface boasting stellar preamps and juicy DSP capabilities built-in, and part of their Apollo series. The Twin is well known for its compact form factor, equally at home in the studio or on the go, and UA's latest X series packs in even more powerful features than ever before. Running up to 24-bit/192kHz, the impeccable A/D and D/A conversion and 127 dB of dynamic range offer professional quality to your recordings, and the internal quad-core DSP processor can take some weight of your host computer's CPU, running UAD plugins on the interface itself. Furthermore, the Unison microphone preamps found in the X series of interfaces works closely with the internal DSP to convincingly emulate the response of iconic preamps, matching impedance and modeling behavior down to the component level.

To get you started with this sonic potential, Universal Audio is including two collections of their renowned plugins with the interface: Analog Classics and the Heritage Edition bundles. Of course, the Twin X also offers standard features like +48V phantom power and input channel high-pass filters, as well as a talkback microphone and flexible monitor control. The Thunderbolt 3 connectivity not only offers exceptionally low latency, but the Twin X can also be chained with the rackmount Apollo interfaces for additional channels, forming a cohesive and flexible recording ecosystem. The Apollo Twin X QUAD doesn't just look really niceā€”it offers plenty of power and function to back up its sleek look, and is ready to drop into any studio.
