The Universal Audio Apollo x4 is a powerful audio interface that allows for high quality multi-track recording. At its core, the UAD quad core processing DSP acceleration offers unmatched power and performance. It features almost no latency, high quality A/D and D/A conversion, a huge dynamic range, and super low noise. Four Unison-enabled mic preamps provide microphone emulation from Helios, API, Neve, Manly, and more. Universal Audio’s Unison technology captures the tone of tube and solid state mics including component-level circuit behaviors from the original hardware. The Apollo x4 also includes two Unison hi-Z instrument inputs. Get great guitar amp emulation from the likes of Fender, Marshall, and Ampeg; as well as authentic analog sounds from Moog, Lexicon, Studer, and more. It comes bundled with the Realtime Analog Classics Plus UAD plugin bundle that offers a great collection of plugins including amp emulations, distortions, compression, and reverb. Connect up to four Apollo x4s and six UAD-2 devices for additional channels of recording. Using the optical ADAT/SPDIF input, up to eight additional channels of digital inputs can be connected to the Apollo x4.
