Built off of algorithms found in their Astra pedal, the aptly named Brigade by Universal Audio offers authentic emulations of classic BBD chorus and vibrato sounds. Specifically, the UAFX team looked towards the beloved Boss CE-1 for sonic inspiration. This pedal, one of the first on the market to use Bucket Bridge Devices (BBDs) at the core of its design, single-handedly established everything we love about warm BBD chorus and vibrato, such that all pedals of this type that followed draw inspiration from the CE-1 in one way or another. Rate and Depth controls give you the ability to dial in the speed and intensity of the effect, while the mode selector switch lets you choose between Chorus and Vibrato effects.
