With the Melee Wall of Noise pedal, Walrus Audio gives you everything you need to succumb to the wash and grit that your heart desires—including a joystick. Move the joystick up and down to control the amount of gain in the distortion circuit, and move it from left to right to change the dry/wet blend of the reverb. You can also change the order of effects, routing the distortion into the reverb per standard signal flow conventions, or create cavernous rumbles by running reverb into the distortion. And for dramatic effect, hold the Sustain switch to let reverb tails swell up to an infinite sustain—at least until you release the switch.

Though the joystick is the main attraction, Melee offers a few additional features to tailor its sounds to your needs. Toggle between three different reverb programs by pressing Bypass and Sustain at the same time, with Ambient, Octave Down, and Reverse reverbs offering different vibes for your music. And with the Tone and Decay switches, you have three-options each for sculpting the sound further. Embrace degradation and murky grit with Melee.
