Wavefonix 8-Step Sequencer

Create and perform stepped and gliding patterns with Wavefonix's 8-Step Sequencer, an easy-to-use sequencer with unique routings and capabilities for simple yet flexible modulation. In the traditional sense, the 8-Step Sequencer provides eight individual steps of unquantized CV that can range anywhere between 2V, 5V, or 10V set via rear jumpers, and each step can either send a gate signal, no signal, or reset itself to the first step. The 8-Step Sequencer requires a clock signal to run but also has a performable run/stop switch for taking the sequence out of the performance. Clock pass-through allows for synchronization throughout your case while the manual and CV input hold and reset controls offer more performance based sequences, varying the position and length of each step.

You can also manually step through the stages via the clock button found below, sending out a pulse to the gate and trig outputs as well as the respective CV to both out one and two. What makes the 8-Step Sequencer unique from others is the identical CV outputs that can vary in glide strength, with either quick and step-like motion to gloopy and slewed portamento. This allows you to set up tracked CV sequences with varied movement across a filter cutoff, LFO speed, oscillator pitch, and so many other destinations. The 8-Step Sequencer brings fast control for performative sequencing with eccentric parameters for thinking outside the box.
