The Zoom XYH-5 is a shock mounted stereo microphone capsule that works great as a microphone attachment for other Zoom products. The two matched unidirectional condenser microphones are set at 90 degree angles from each other. The shock mount system they are housed in features rubberized materials to minimize noise and vibration. It can handle loud sounds, up to 140dB SPL (equivalent to an aircraft carrier deck) and is perfect for recording concerts. It is compatible with Zoom's H5, H6, U-44, Q8, F4, F8, as well as ECM-3 extension cable for microphone capsules.
