ZVEX's Fuzz Factory 7 USA takes the cult favorite Fuzz Factory farther than ever before: it's a seven-knob monstrosity with a range of tone from crushing low end to broken radios, zippered guitar lines, dog whistles, and much more. And trust me, we mean all of that in the best way possible.

This version of the Fuzz Factory 7 features two NOS 1960s GT308 germanium transistors—selected for their readiness to break up and destroy any tone they encounter. You'll get a nine-position rotary switch for selecting different fuzz responses—optimizing for use in different frequency ranges and providing a mind-boggling range of unique tones. You also get a passive tone control (with its own dedicated footswitch), particularly useful for rolling off the more abrasive screeches you may encounter. Beyond that, you get control for output volume, Gate, Comp, Drive, and Stab (stability). While these controls do generall affect what you might assume, much of any Fuzz Factory's magic is about the serendipity of what happens when controls are adjusted just so: controls will take on new meaning, and any adjustment can have a profound effect on your sound. That said, FF7 is probably the most controllable and fine-tuneable Fuzz Factory ever created—so, you can choose your own adventure.
