The Future Sound Systems TG2 Gristleizer Generator is an update of the oscillator section of the Gristleizer perfect for audio or LFO duties. The core of TG2 is a variable shaped ramp wave oscillator which has been updated with increased stability. The oscillator can be reset using the sync input and features 1V/Oct and FM input with attenuator. It features a continuous shape control that goes from ramp down to triangle to ramp up. The variable-shape ramp is then run into a wavefolder. The wavefolder outputs both the fold and pulse waveforms based on the offset and gain controls. The gain and offset are both CV-controllable and feature CV attenuators. Finally, the ramp wave is routed to a comparator for the clock output. The shape control sets the pulse width of the resulting clock signal. The TG2 is an essential part of the Gristleizer system, providing modulation, audio, and discipline.
